How about sleeping till 8 o’ clock in the morning on the weekends? Thinking about that itself is hugging us with the blanket, right? For us, sleep is for relaxation and stress relief. But for our little ones, it is the strong point to their brain development. Minimum 10 to 12 hours of sleep is necessary for the kids aged from 10- 14. But, are they sleeping?
Following are some factors that disturbs their sleep:
- Feeding intolerance or physical ache
- Behavior pattern
- Airway abnormalities
You can know whether your baby has a sleeping disorder
- Breathing through mouth
- Drowsiness in the morning
- Frequent nightmares
- Coughing in the night
- Frequent wake up in the night
Bringing them back to a sound sleep is not that tough, if you meet the right health care provider at the right time.
