Diana Hayden, former miss world at the age of 42 gave birth to a baby gives new hopes to women who are in no rush to become mothers at any age.  She is frozen her eggs eight years ago gave birth to her first child born out of her eggs. Many career oriented women are now trying this technique and treated this technique as a smart move. This freezing technique is still not popular in India and the people in India still need to understand the importance and benefits of this technique and they need to open their eyes especially people in joint conservative families. 

Egg freezing does not gain much importance as IVF in India, as it is not a normal procedure like IVF or surrogacy. The procedure caught few people’s attention for the past three years. In 2014, Apple and Facebook announced that they will provide financial support for their employees for egg freezing to attract women employees to increase the retention rates.

International egg freezing is common in Hollywood celebrities like Sofia Vergara and Kim Kardashain have taken. Egg freezing is a costly affair and is mostly taken up by high-profile people. In India, freezing embryos costs Rs.10, 000 to Rs.15, 000 per month, and the frozen embryo transfer cycle costs Rs.100, 000 to Rs.200, 000 per cycle. Embryo transfer is the main part of the IVF process - and it usually takes 10 to 15 days to be injected into a woman's womb. As many couples are now working in IT firms, BPOs and in management background are busy with their careers and delay the baby making process. But before taking a decision, be aware that egg freezing isn't a sure shot guarantee of pregnancy.
